CampOut was founded by myself, Scott, a Canadian born and Vancouver living naturalist. In search of the great outdoors, I recently moved to beautiful British Columbia to explore the dense rain forest and hike through breathtaking mountains. Surrounded by such powerful natural landscapes quickly develops one’s appreciation for proper packing while hiking and camping. Not only are the items themselves important, but also the overall weight and convenience of the gear. CampOut Gear is designed with lightweight, high quality material for all types campers, backpackers, hikers and beach lovers. The easier it is to pack in a pack out, the more often we are able to escape the urban jungle most of us call home.

            We kicked off with lightweight hammocks to minimize the use of bulky tent, extremely practical for wild terrain or mountainous regions. Since then we introduced the Air Sofa, perfect for any beach day or lounging at the park. We look forward to testing out new products in local BC terrain and will be announcing new arrivals shortly!
